Twisted Dance Collective is a group of dedicated teachers and advanced students who have a passion for dancing, teaching and performing. In January, the Collective partnered with Break 'N' Out Dance Studio in Greensboro to continue offering Belly Dance, BellyFit and Martial Art instruction. Our teachers provide high quality instruction that focuses on technique and expression (while having a FABULOUS time).Check out our classes link to look at our Google calendar.
We have spent the last few years working very hard to build a supportive, accepting and open dance community where dancers of all ages, genders, and sizes can express themselves without worry or judgment. We invite YOU to join us.
Project Shimmy is approaching, and we need your help!
Torque, the professional belly dance troupe at Twisted Dance Studios began Project Shimmy in 2008 as a way to help Triad Health Project, a Greensboro-based 501(c)-3 non-profit organization, meet the needs of individuals living with HIV / AIDS and their loved ones.
This year, the show is being hosted by Twisted Dance Collective, a group of dancers from the former Twisted Dance Studios that has decided to continue their dance relationships, even after the studio closing. 2014 will be the 6th Annual benefit show, and Twisted Dance Collective would like to raise even more funds for Triad Health Project. And to do that, we need help to pay for the expenses of producing Project Shimmy. If the Collective can raise $1150, any and all money raised by the benefit show will go directly to Triad Health Project.
Help us by contributing to our Indiegogo campaign--every little bit helps. If you donate $20 or more you qualify for perks that include t-shirts, tickets to the show, and reserved seating for the event (see fundraising page for details).
